Our flexible Terms and Conditions, together with our transparent returns policy and lifetime aftercare commitment, are designed to provide complete confidence and peace of mind with every purchase.

Every piece of jewellery is handcrafted to the highest standards using carefully selected diamonds, gemstones, and precious materials. We are proud to offer beautifully made jewellery at competitive prices without compromising on quality or service.

Lifetime of Service Manufacturing Warranty

All jewellery purchased from Alan Bick is covered by our lifetime of service manufacturing warranty against faults arising from workmanship or manufacturing defects.

This warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, loss, theft, or repairs carried out by third parties.

If you believe your jewellery requires inspection, please contact our team who will be pleased to assist.

Made in the United Kingdom Guarantee

For over 65 years, we have proudly manufactured our jewellery within the United Kingdom through our dedicated Hatton Garden workshops.

All precious metal jewellery is independently hallmarked by the appropriate UK Assay Office, confirming the authenticity and quality of the materials purchased, so you can buy with confidence.

Diamond & Gemstone Certification Guarantee

Our diamonds and gemstones are carefully inspected to meet our exacting standards before being offered for sale.

Where applicable, stones are independently certified by respected laboratories including Gemological Institute of America (GIA), International Gemological Institute (IGI) and other recognised grading authorities.

Certification availability may vary depending on stone size and specification.

Complimentary Ring Size Adjustment

We offer one complimentary ring size adjustment within 90 days of purchase on eligible standard-size rings.

This service excludes bespoke, specially commissioned, eternity, or technically restricted designs. Additional resizing requests may be available at our discretion.


Returns & Refund Policy

We hope you will be delighted with your purchase. However, if you are not entirely satisfied, eligible items may be returned within 90 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, subject to the conditions below.

Eligible Returns Must Be:

  • Returned in original, unworn condition
  • Accompanied by original packaging
  • Returned with all certificates and documentation where applicable
  • Free from damage, alteration, resizing, or wear

Non-Returnable Items Include:

  • Bespoke or custom-made jewellery
  • Items with centre stones priced above ÂŁ12,000 excluding VAT
  • Full eternity rings
  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons unless faulty)
  • Altered or resized items unless faulty

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, we will offer repair, replacement, exchange, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

Refunds are processed once the returned item has been received and inspected.


Delivery Information

Estimated delivery times are confirmed at the point of order and may vary depending on design complexity, bespoke manufacture, stone sourcing, and seasonal demand.

While every effort is made to meet agreed timelines, occasional delays may occur outside our control.

UK Deliveries

Orders within the United Kingdom are typically shipped using secure insured services such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.

International Deliveries

International orders may be shipped via trusted couriers such as FedEx or UPS.

Risk & Ownership

Risk passes to the purchaser upon confirmed delivery and signed acceptance.

Identification may be required for collection or delivery of high-value goods.


Repairs & Lifetime Aftercare

We are pleased to provide ongoing aftercare services including:

  • Professional cleaning
  • Polishing
  • Claw checks
  • Stone security inspections
  • Repairs
  • Restoration work
  • Updated valuations

Charges may apply depending on the nature of work required.


Third-Party Alterations

Any jewellery altered, resized, repaired, or modified by another jeweller or third party may void applicable warranties, service guarantees, or return eligibility.


Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alan Bick Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from delays, misuse, accidental damage, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.


Promotional Competitions & Offers

Separate terms may apply to promotions, competitions, gift vouchers, or limited-time campaigns. Where applicable, these will be published alongside the relevant promotion.


Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.
